The Indian embassy in Iran on Wednesday (April 8, 2026) issued an advisory for Indian nationals to expeditiously exit Iran, sticking to its advisory issued a day before. The statement comes hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire deal between his country and Iran.

The Indian embassy also said that citizens’ exit must be in coordination with the embassy.
