District Collector reviews land acquisition

District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya on Thursday (September 18) asked revenue officials to speed up the process of acquiring land for setting up of industries, constructing educational institutions and residential hostels in the district.

At a review meeting on land acquisition, the Collector said 162 acres has been allotted in Midtur for KUSUM project, 315 acres in Rudravaram, Chagalamarri and Allagadda for setting up compressed bio-gas projects, 2,860 acres for integrated renewable energy project in Dhone and Betemcharla and 49 acres in Sugalimetta for MSME project.

She asked officials to resolve the pending issues in regard to land acquisition in a swift manner for the setting up of industries.
