One of the four-year-old twin sisters who went missing from Jubileenagar in Karimnagar Rural Mandal on Friday morning was found dead in an open well near the village.

The girls, Geethamshi and Geethanvika, daughters of Srisailam and Maunika, had reportedly gone missing from their agricultural field on Friday morning. Alerted by the villagers, the Karimnagar rural police rushed to the village and launched a search operation to trace them.

The body of Geethamshi was retrieved by the police on Friday evening and search is underway to find Geethanvika.

Meanwhile, relatives reportedly pointed the needle of suspicion at Srisailam. Sources added that Srisailam used to frequently quarrel with his wife over family disputes. The police are on the lookout for Srisailam, who is reportedly at large.
