Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud  participating in Ugadi celebrations, in Hyderabad, on Thursday.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the upcoming budget will be acceptable to all sections of society and will serve as a guiding force for the State’s progress.

He spoke after participating in the Ugadi celebrations held at Gandhi Bhavan. Along with TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, he attended the ‘Panchanga Sravanam’ and extended his greetings to people.

Mr Bhatti hoped that in this ‘Parabhava’ year, evil forces would be defeated and the State would flourish with agricultural abundance and prosperity.

Mr. Mahesh Goud said Congress workers should take the welfare programmes to the grassroot level so that every section of the society benefits from the government policies. He said the government led by Mr Revanth Reddy was fulfilling all the promises made to the people and youngsters were very happy with the recruitment notifications released, and jobs filled.

Traditional rituals were performed, followed by ‘Panchanga Sravanam’ (almanac reading). The scholars predicted good year for the government and it will continue to be strengthened.
