As many as 20 persons sustained injuries of them three are said to be critical after a van carrying them overturned at Ananthagiri mandal in Alluri Sitharama Raju district on Friday (March 13, 2026) night.
According to the police, around 20 workers from Jami in Vizianagaram district had been engaged in railway-related works in Ananthagiri mandal. After completing their work on Friday (March 13, 2026), they were on their way back in a van from Similiguda when the vehicle reportedly lost control and turned turtle, leading to the accident.
