Five women achievers from various fields were honoured with Rajalakshmi Awards by Rajalakshmi Engineering College here on Wednesday.
Among the awardees were Shanta Dhananjayan, Bharatnatyam dancer; Mucherla Aruna, influencer and actor; Shenaz Begum, fitness athlete and trainer; Sumithra Prasad, Founder-General Secretary, DORAI Foundation; and N. Nishad Fathima, Chief Scientist, CLRI.
The awards were given away by Thangam Meganathan, Chairperson, Rajalakshmi Institutions, in the presence of Tejshree Abhay Meganathan, Executive Director, Rajalakshmi Institutions.
