Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Wednesday (March 4, 2026), inaugurated the ‘Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar’ Auditorium, constructed within Presidency College campus in Chennai at a cost of ₹63 crore and distributed laptops to students under the ‘Ulagam Ungal Kaiyil’ initiative.

According to an official release, the Chief Minister had announced the construction of a hostel for persons with disabilities and an auditorium in the name of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi within Presidency College premises during the institution’s convocation in July 2022.
