Over 2,500 drug addicts identified during awareness campaign: NTR Commissioner of Police

Police identified 2,513 drug addicts during ‘Drugs Pai Dandayatra’ organised in NTR Commissionerate, said Police Commissioner S. V. Rajasekhar Babu. “Persons addicted to drugs were given counselling and treatment was given to the needy at the government hospital,” said the Police Commissioner, who participated in the rally organised on the last day of the programme, on Sunday. Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) head and Inspector General of Police Ake Ravi Krishna, Deputy Commissioners of Police and others felicitated the five women police who organised the 510-kms rally.
