Andhra Pradesh delivered an outstanding performance at the IndiaSkills Competition –South Regional 2025–26, held at Kanha Shantivanam, Hyderabad, by securing a total of 23 medals, including two gold, eight silver, three bronze and 10 Medallions of Excellence.

In a statement on Wednesday, AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) Executive Director K. Raghu said the State’s success across key trades such as Industry 4.0, Industrial Mechanics, Software Testing and Landscape Gardening highlighted its growing strength in skill development and industry-aligned training.

APSSDC Managing Director and CEO Ganesh Kumar congratulated the winners and said the achievement reflected the “dedication of our youth and the strong support of trainers, mentors and institutions”. He reaffirmed APSSDC’s commitment to building a robust, industry-aligned skill ecosystem and preparing candidates for national and global competitions.

He said APSSDC’s structured approach, including rigorous selection, specialised boot camps, focussed training and continuous mentoring helped a great deal in helping the competitors gain an edge over others.
