A luxury car was involved in an accident on Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills on Sunday morning (February 22, 2026) after its brakes reportedly failed. The accident occurred near the residence of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Police said that around 10:30 a.m., a red Ferrari hit an electric pole and then veered to the other side of the road, colliding head-on with three other vehicles and damaging them. The impact caused minor injuries to those in the Ferrari and damage to the vehicle.

Traffic was briefly affected in the area. The Hyderabad traffic police issued an alert on social media platforms cautioning commuters about the incident and the resulting congestion. Traffic diversions were put in place from Road No. 45 towards Cable Bridge and from Cable Bridge towards Road No. 45.

The details of the owner are yet to be collected, police said.

A case is being booked by the Jubilee Hills police and further investigation is under way.
