The body of a 26-year-old man who went missing in the Kagina river while swimming at Beeranahalli village of Sedam taluk in Kalaburagi district was recovered on Monday after a three-day search operation.
Shivaprakash, a resident of Belamagi village in Aland taluk, went missing on Saturday while swimming in the Kagina in Sedam taluk.
A team of members from the State Disaster Response Force, the Fire and Emergency Services and local police conducted continuous search operations for three days and recovered the body on Monday.
A case has been registered at the Malkhed Police Station.
