Man falls to death from multi-storey building in Kochi

An unidentified middle-aged man died after reportedly falling from a multi-storey building on M.G. Road here on Saturday (February 14, 2026) in an incident that the police suspect to be a case of suicide.

The incident occurred around 1.30 p.m. The man reportedly jumped off the third floor of the building after removing his clothes. He fell onto the busy street and died on the spot.

The police said they were reviewing CCTV footage and identifying him was their priority. A case of unnatural death was registered.
