Budget has given equal priority for development and welfare of people says JSP leader

Jana Sena Party senior leader Avanapu Vikram hailed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for presenting a comprehensive Budget in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Saturday (February 14, 2026).

In a press release, he said that the Budget would ensure overall growth of the State as it had given priority to both development and welfare of the people. He said that the allocation of ₹13,546 crores for the development of roads, ports and airports would benefit the Vizianagaram district, especially in the backdrop of the construction of Bhogapuram international airport.

Mr. Vikram lauded the allocation of ₹8365 crores for VB-G Ram G scheme which was recently introduced in place of MGNREGA scheme.

Mr. Vikram said that the allocation of ₹4,000 crore for Jal Jeevan Mission would benefit people living in rural areas. He hoped that the Vizianagaram and other parts of Andhra Pradesh would witness significant growth in the near future with the steps taken out by the government. He said that the government had enhanced funds for rural and agricultural development with the initiative of Pawan Kalyan.

The JSP leader has also added that that Pawan Kalyan who is Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development had been focusing for the quick progress of villages in the State.
