Director-General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta on Wednesday (February 4) launched ‘AI4AP Police’ project at here AP Police Headquarters. The pilot project will be implemented in three districts in the State.
‘AI4AP Police’ integrates eight cutting-edge AI tools into a unified ecosystem and will address critical policing challenges ranging from grievance redressal to complex data analysis, police said.
“The project would initially be implemented as a pilot in Annamaiah, Chittoor and Guntur districts, and would be extended to all other districts over the next six months,” the DGP said.
Inspector General of Police (IGP-Technical Services) Ch. Srikanth, IGP (Women Safety) B. Raja Kumari, SP (Technical Services) Mallika Garg, superintendents of police Vakul Jindal, Tushar Dudi and Dheeraj Kunubilli supervised the development of the project, the DGP said.
