The Union Budget is an inspiring blueprint for building a ‘Viksit Bharat (developed India)’, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday (February 1, 2026). He added that it will provide opportunities to the youth, security to farmers, encouragement to entrepreneurs, relief to the middle class, respect to workers, and a new impetus for innovation.

“The Union Budget 2026-27 presented by the Union Finance Minister today on the occasion of Maghi Purnima and the birth anniversary of Sadguru Ravidasji Maharaj, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, is an inspiring blueprint for building a ‘Viksit Bharat’,” wrote Mr. Adityanath on X.

He added that the Budget will give a fillip to manufacturing and employment and “strengthen agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, tourism, culture, and knowledge traditions, thereby realising the mantra of ‘Development with heritage’”.

The Chief Minister said under the Prime Minister’s guidance, “the foundation of a self-reliant India has been further strengthened by supporting MSMEs, start-ups, and indigenous manufacturing”. “We are confident that through social justice, inclusive growth, and good governance, this Budget will pave the way for the India of the present as well as the future,” he said.

‘Development-oriented’

The Budget is inclusive, development-oriented, and will fulfil the hopes, aspirations, and ambitions of crores of countrymen, said Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak. “Through the Budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji has proved that self-reliant and developed India is not just a slogan but the resolution of our government,” he told mediapersons in Lucknow.
