Five agricultural electric motors were stolen by miscreants, suspected to be members of an inter-district gang, in Laxmipur village of Ramadugu mandal in Karimnagar district, shortly after Monday midnight.
According to sources, miscreants struck at different farmlands in Laxmipur village and made away with farm motors during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The Ramadugu police have registered a case and are investigating.
In a statement, the BJP Kisan Morcha vice-president Singireddy Krishna Reddy urged the police to curb the theft of agricultural motors by organised gangs and recover the stolen property to ensure justice to the victimised farmers.
