60,953 cases settled in National Lok Adalat

As many as, 60,953 pending and pre-litigation cases have been settled, and orders have been issued for payment of about ₹109 crore compensation to victims, in the National Lok Adalat organised in the State on Saturday (September 13). In all, 381 benches have been arranged across the State. The cases were settled with the cooperation of the judiciary officers, advocates, representatives of various insurance companies, Police and Excise department officials, petitioners and other officers in the National Lok Adalat, said the AP State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) officials in a release.
