The Anti-Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch on Tuesday arrested a 45-year-old Nigerian national and recovered 2.5 kg of MDMA and 300 ecstasy tablets worth ₹5.15 crore from him.

Based on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in Munekolala in Marathahalli and arrested Cornest Oneyachi Ugah and recovered the synthetic drugs. A probe revealed that Ugah is a habitual offender involved in similar cases earlier in Hennur and Kadugodi police station limits.

The police are now trying to track down the source of the drugs and possible involvement of others in the crime.
