Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said Telangana was focusing on solutions, not disputes, particularly in regard to inter-State water issues, and appealed for political consensus and cooperation from neighbouring States.

He appealed to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu not to obstruct approvals for Krishna river projects that existed during the undivided State, stating that delays were affecting Central funding and increasing the financial burden on Telangana.

Urging all the parties to rise above politics and work collectively for amicable resolutions, he said the Congress Government was not interested in politicising the issue and would always choose solutions over controversies.

The Chief Minister said Telangana seeks cooperation, not confrontation, with neighbouring States including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, particularly for port connectivity and long-term development.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated Sujen Medicare Fluids manufacturing unit, and said Hyderabad’s transformation into a globally competitive city was the outcome of three decades of sustained effort.

He lauded the establishment of a German technology–driven IV fluids manufacturing facility in South India, calling it a significant boost to the State’s industrial and healthcare ecosystem.

The Chief Minister said the unit aligned with the Government’s ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision, under which the State aims to become a USD 1 trillion economy by 2034 and a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047. He said the State’s growth strategy would rest on three pillars: CURE, PURE and RARE, with a strong focus on pharmaceuticals, clean industries and innovation.

Highlighting the State’s dominance in the pharma sector, Mr. Reddy said 40% of India’s bulk drug production originates from the State and that Telangana is increasingly attracting global attention. He noted with pride that many alumni from the State are now leading multinational corporations as CEOs.
