The 23rd edition of the annual Chitra Santhe will be held on Sunday. Organised by Chitra Kala Parishath, it will take place on Kumara Krupa Road, and is expected to attract a large number of visitors.

“Due to the limited parking availability around Kumara Krupa Road, members of the public attending the santhe are requested to use public transport such as BMTC buses, metro services, and app-based taxis including Ola and Uber, instead of private vehicles. This will help ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth conduct of the event,” the traffic police have appealed to those who plan to visit the annual art fair.

The police have prohibited all types of vehicle movement on both sides of Kumara Krupa Road, from Windsor Manor Junction to Shivananda Circle, between 5.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m.

The vehicles coming from Mourya Junction and Anandrao Circle towards Windsor Manor should proceed straight from Race View Junction via Race Course Road. The vehicles coming from T. Chowdaiah Road towards K.K. Road should proceed straight from Windsor Junction, reach Old High Grounds Junction, take a right turn towards Basaveshwara Junction, and move further.

Alos, the vehicles from Old High Grounds Junction towards Windsor Manor and K.K. Road should proceed straight from Windsor Manor towards R.P. Road and continue further.

The police have set up a parking facility for four-wheelers on Railway Parallel Road, Crescent Road and Race Course Road.
