Teacher among two killed in separate accidents

A 57-year-old teacher died in an accident after he lost control of his car and crashed into a roadside tree on the outskirts of Doddaballapur early on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Jagadishaiah, the head master of a school and a resident of Basavanahalli, Nelamangala. The accident occurred near the Akashavani area on the Doddaballapur–Nelamangala road, on his way to work in the morning.

According to the police, the car was travelling at high speed. Jagadishaiah sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.

Another accident

In a separate incident, a 24-year-old biker died after losing control of his motorcycle in the Vijayanagar Police Station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Akash Kumar Sharma, a resident of Manjunath Nagar. The accident occurred on Thimmaiah Road, when the bike skidded, causing the rider to fall. Akash suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

The Vijayanagar traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
