Karnataka: Final voters’ list for Western Graduates Constituency published

The final electoral roll for the Karnataka Legislative Council’s Western Graduates Constituency was published on December 30, 2025, following the completion of the claims and objections process, an official release said.

As per the direction of the Election Commission of India, the draft voter list was published on November 25, 2025, in accordance with the schedule announced on September 12. Claims and objections were received from November 25 to December 10, after which applications were verified before finalisation, the release said.

The Western Graduates’ Constituency, which will fall vacant on November 11, 2026, has a total of 88,087 voters, including 51,599 men and 36,488 women. Districtwise, Dharwad has 30,907 voters, Gadag 19,643, Haveri 22,161, and Uttara Kannada 15,376.

The final voter list is available with Electoral Registration Officers and District Election Officers, as well as on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website. Eligible graduates whose names do not figure in the final list may apply for inclusion up to 10 days before the last date for filing nominations for the elections, the release said.
