Rajya Sabha member based in Bagalkot Narayansa K. Bhandage has received the Skilling for AI Readiness (SOAR) Certificate for Skill Competency issued by the National Association of Software and Service Companies. (NASSC)
He underwent a 10-hour online course issued by the NASSC, which is recognised by NCVET, for integrated assessment. It is an initiative of IGNOU regional centre, Rairangpur.
President Droupadi Murmu gave away the certificates at an event at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre on Thursday.
Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister for IT Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister for Skill Development Jayant Choudhary and Secretary, Skill Development, Debashree Mukherji and others were present, said a release.
