Kerala HC disposes of 1.09 lakh cases in 2025

The Kerala High Court disposed of 1.09 lakh cases in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 6% as compared to 2024, when it disposed of 1.02 lakh cases.

Justice P.V. Kunhikrishnan topped in case disposals, having disposed of 15,026 cases in 2025.

The number of pending civil cases before the court is 2.07 lakh, of which 1.47 lakh are pending for over a year. The number of criminal cases pending before the court is 50,785, of which 34,835 are pending for over a year.
