A cutout erected to mark the birthday of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has become a talking point across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, after photographs of senior Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders were featured alongside him.

The cutout, installed near Tadepalli, close to Jagan’s residence, prominently displays the message “Happy Birthday Jagannanna”. However, what drew immediate public and political attention was the inclusion of images of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR).

According to sources, the cutout was erected by Ravinder Yadav, a resident of Serilingampally in Hyderabad, Telangana. Soon after it was put up, photographs and videos of the display began circulating widely on social media platforms, going viral and sparking discussion among political observers and party supporters.

The presence of KCR and KTR on a Jagan’s birthday cutout has led to speculations about the cordial relations between the YSRCP and the BRS. Many political commentators allegedly view the gesture as symbolic, suggesting mutual respect and a continuing political rapport between the leaderships of the two regional parties.

Wishes galore

Meanwhile, leaders across party lines extended birthday greetings to the YSRCP chief.

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer conveyed his greetings, wishing him good health, happiness and a long life. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended birthday wishes to Mr. Jagan, praying for his long and healthy life. Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief K. Pawan Kalyan extended his wishes, praying for the former Chief Minister’s good health and happiness. HRD Minister Nara Lokesh also extended birthday greetings to Mr. Jagan, wishing him good health and a long life.

APCC president and Jagan’s sister, Y.S. Sharmila, extended her warm birthday greetings, expressing her sincere wish that god bless him with good health and longevity. Former Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayasai Reddy conveyed his warm birthday wishes, praying for Mr. Jagan’s strength, good health, happiness and continued success in serving the people.

BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao also extended his heartfelt greetings, wishing Mr. Jagan strength and success in public life. Senior Congress leader Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu wished the former Chief Minister good health, happiness and a long life.
