Yashoda Hospitals Hitech City has completed over 1,000 complex major robotic surgeries within a single year. The achievement was announced at an event in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Yashoda Hospitals managing director Dr. G. S. Rao said the milestone includes 434 gynaecology and gynaec-oncology surgeries, 310 general, gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary procedures, 177 urology surgeries, 79 thoracic surgeries, as well as highly complex robotic procedures in head and neck surgery.  “The hospital had consistently invested in new technologies and integrated them with patient-centred care,” he added.

Addressing the gathering, Madhapur DCP Riti Raj, who was the chief guest for the event, said the milestone is a matter of pride for Hyderabad, Telangana and the wider Telugu States. She noted that the completion of over 1,000 complex robotic surgeries in a year reflects the hospital’s commitment to advanced medical technology, patient safety and clinical excellence.
