Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has said that the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document is not just a document, but a platform for the State’s accelerated growth in its journey to becoming US $ 3 trillion economy.

Telangana always had aspirations. What was missing was a long term, comprehensive, future ready plan that matched those aspirations. “This time we built not just a document, but a platform,” he said addressing the valedictory of the Telangana Rising Global Summit on Tuesday. He expressed satisfaction at the success of the summit claiming that from capital frameworks to agricultural value chains, from frontier technology to forest economies people were not merely talking, they expressed their readiness to commit and act,” he said.

Referring to the summit, he said he had been thinking about the word summit which was of two types. The first type suggested taking everyone’s speeches, add all suggestions and getting a sum. “It is mathematics,”. “But the second type if what we witnessed today. This cannot be summed up. Each session didn’t just add new ideas, it multiplied opportunities,” he said amid applause from the participants.

Earlier, speakers including NITI Aayog’s Suman Bery and RBI former Governor appreciated the State Government, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his Cabinet colleagues for conceiving the summit and gave suggestions. Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen in his virtual address said the summit was historical and the document shaped the aspirations of the people comprising roadmap that had fundamental enablers. He indicated that he was interested in partnering with Telangana Government in its efforts to boost the use of Artificial Intelligence in governance and other sectors.

RBI former Governor D. Subba Rao appreciated the transformation of Telangana over the past few years from a region once associated with feudalism, poverty, backwardness and ignorance. The State was possibly the number one in the country clocking highest growth rate.

Mr. Siman Bery said appreciated the Government’s vision for the next two decades and advised it to focus on productivity. Ease of Doing Business, deregulation and other factors should be looked into as they were like bricks and mortar in the journey to achieve the goals.
