TPCC general secretary Chanagani Dayakar has accused BRS working president K.T.Rama Rao of making ‘petty comments’ about Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to divert attention from the Formula-E race case.

Addressing a press conference, Mr. Dayakar stated that Revanth Reddy became the Chief Minister after leading the fight against BRS corruption and highlighted allegations against KTR, including selling nearly ₹30,000 crore worth 1000 acres of HMDA and TGIIC lands from 2014 to 2023 during the previous BRS regime.

Evidence of KTR’s corruption includes the ACB raid on HMDA director Balakrishna, who was found with ₹1000 crore. Mr. Dayakar alleged KTR colluded with realtors to acquire lands in areas around Hyderabad. He warned that if KTR continues making allegations against the CM, Congress workers will take action.

Mr. Dayakar claimed the Congress government has brought progress to Telangana, introducing a new salary policy and protecting government lands. He accused KTR of trying to divert attention from corruption allegations and challenged him to respond to criticism by his sister and Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha.
