Moved by a report about the plight of four children in Kallakurichi district, who recently lost their only surviving parent, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday instructed a Minister and officials to fulfil all their requirements. He also spoke to the children over the phone and assured his government’s full support.

“These four children would henceforth be this government’s children. The government would protect their future,” Mr. Stalin said in a social media post.

The Chief Minister instructed Kallakurichi Collector to fulfil their requirements. “I spoke to them too and assured them that their demands would be fulfilled and we would stand by them.”

Minister E.V. Velu visited the children on Monday evening and provided financial assistance for their immediate requirement. “Our Dravidian model of governance would stand by them for their better future and their success in life.” According to the media report, the children lost their mother seven years ago and their father died recently.
