The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government garnered investments amounting to ₹13,25,617 crore through 613 MoUs signed at the two-day CII Partnership Summit 2025 that concluded here on Saturday.
The energy sector fetched the largest chunk of investments at ₹5,33,351 crore followed by industries at ₹2,80,384 crore infrastructure – ₹2,01,758 crore, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications – ₹1,59,467 crore, AP Capital Region Development Authority – ₹48,711 crore, tourism – ₹21,036 crore, goods processing – ₹13,008 crore, and others.
Some of the major MoUs signed were with the World Economic Forum (WEF) for the establishment of WEF – Andhra Pradesh Centre for Energy and Cyber Resilience, the Airports Authority of India for the development of a greenfield airport at Srikakulam, and an agreement with the Goa Shipyard Ltd. for setting up a warship building and defence manufacturing unit at Machilipatnam.
A few other MoUs signed were for an investment of ₹1,980 crore for the development of the Amaravati Quantum Valley, which is targeted to become operational in a couple of months.
MoUs were also signed for the setting up of 12 companies at Sri City. Besides, Raymond Ltd. has come forward to set up an auto component manufacturing unit near the KIA car plant in Satya Sai district and another two firms in the Rayalaseema region, with an aggregate investment of ₹1,201 crore.
Addressing mediapersons, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said though the CII Summit was organised multiple times in Visakhapatnam, the government ensured that investments were made across three regions namely Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati and officials were being attached to closely follow up on the MoUs so that they take tangible shape in the next three years.
In addition to having the MoUs signed, the Chief Minister, Ministers and top government officials held discussions with various multi national and Indian companies for investing in the State. The companies with which parleys were held included LG Chemicals, Atmospheric Core Company, IFFCO and Cordelia Cruises.
