The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Polit Bureau described the incident as a “dastardly bomb attack” and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. It noted with concern reports of large quantities of explosives and firearms being recovered from areas around Delhi, suggesting the involvement of an organised network. “It is the responsibility of the government to uncover it and bring all the perpetrators to justice,” the party’s polit bureau said in a statement.

The Communist Party of India (CPI) also expressed deep shock and grief over the explosion, conveying condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. It demanded a thorough, transparent and time-bound probe into the incident and called on the government to ensure the best possible medical care for those injured.

Both parties appealed to the public to remain vigilant and maintain peace and harmony, cautioning against any attempts at provocation.
