Parts of Medak in Telangana received heavy rain on Thursday (September 11, 2025) morning till 11 a.m.. Moderate rain was recorded in Wanaparthy, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba Gadwal and Vikarabad.

The highest of 69.8 mm was recorded in Medak mandal, according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s data from 8.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

India Meteorological Department in its bulletin dated September 10 has forecast heavy rainfall as very likely in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Suryapet and Mahabubabad on Thursday (Septembner 11, 2025). And, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are very likely at isolated places in all districts.

Wednesday rain data

Heavy rainfall was forecast in 10 districts for Wednesday, including in Adilabad. According to TGDPS’s brief note, the highest rainfall from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning (8.30 a.m.) was 133.3 mm recorded in Jainad, Adilabad. It was followed by 88.9 mm in Tadvai of Mulugu and 87.5 mm in Ghattu of Jogulamba Gadwal.
