The Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) “Trishul” will commence on Monday, with the Indian Navy leading the large-scale joint drills alongside the Indian Army and Indian Air Force across the creek and desert sectors of Rajasthan and Gujarat, extending into the northern Arabian Sea.
The exercise is being coordinated by the Headquarters Western Naval Command. According to the Indian Navy, principal formations participating include the Army Southern Command, Western Naval Command, and South Western Air Command, supported by the Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, and other central agencies — underscoring robust inter-agency coordination and multi-domain integration.
Aim of the exercise
The exercise aims to validate joint operational procedures, enhance interoperability, and strengthen network integration among the Services.
It will feature extensive maritime operations, including amphibious landings using INS Jalashwa and Landing Craft Utility vessels, alongside carrier operations and air-sea coordinated missions with the IAF, it added.
A key focus of Trishul 2025 is on joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Cyber Warfare operations. The drills will also emphasize the use of indigenous systems, reflecting the principles of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and refine strategies to meet emerging security challenges.
The drill underscores the collective resolve of the Indian Armed Forces to operate in a fully integrated, multi-domain environment, strengthening joint operational readiness and national security preparedness.
