State-level cross country running race in Belagavi on Nov. 9

A State-level cross country running race will be organised in Dharwad on November 9 as part of the Rajyotsava celebrations.

“It will be jointly organised by the District Olympics Association and the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation,” association president Shivu Hiremath said in Dharwad on Wednesday.

A 10-km running race will be conducted for men and women, while a 4-km district-level running race will be organised for boys and girls under 16.

Participants must report at R.N. Shetty Stadium by 6.30 a.m. and the race will begin at 7 a.m.

The prize distribution and certificate presentation ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Entry is free. Details can be had from Ph: 9008869672, 9845868491 or 9022818156.
