Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy called on Sringeri Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Swamiji, who is on a visit to Hyderabad as part of his ‘Dharma Vijaya Yatra’, at Shankar Math in Nallakunta on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) morning.

Mr. Reddy extended welcome to the seer and briefed him on the development works being undertaken at the Vemulawada temple in Karimnagar district.

During his visit, the Chief Minister had a darshan of Lord Ganapati, Goddess Sharadamba, Lord Chandramouleeswara Swamy, and Adi Shankaracharya. He performed special pujas at the temple complex.

Government Whip and Vemulawada Legislator Adi Srinivas accompanied the Chief Minister.

The Government is renovating the historic Vemulawada Raja Rajeshwari temple and also expanding the roads leading to the temple. Mr. Reddy had promised during the election campaign that the temple, which is an important pilgrimage centre in Telangana, would be renovated spending Rs 100 crore.
