In Anakapalli district, Sabbavaram received 126 mm and other stations, including Rajam, Koduru, Gandhavaram, all received between 110 mm and 130 mm rainfall. These two are the only districts that received more than 100 mm rainfall after the formation of cyclonic storm Montha, between 8.30 a.m. on Monday and 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

A few places in the districts of Srikakulam, SPSR Nellore and Tirupati also received moderate rainfall, and some received around 80-90 mm rainfall during the period.

The districts of Krishna, Kakinada, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, which were put on red alert as the landfall is likely to happen between Machilipatnam and Kakinada, have received light to moderate showers.

For Tuesday, a red alert has been issued for the 18 out of 26 districts. Except for Rayalaseema, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall, more than 200 mm, at isolated places in these districts.
