GBA polls: BJP forms 11-member team

The Opposition BJP has formed a team of 11 co-ordinators led by party State president B.Y. Vijayendra to monitor the party’s preparations for the forthcoming elections to the GBA corporations.

The team comprises leaders of the Opposition in both the Legislature Houses, R. Ashok and Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, MPs from Bengaluru and surrounding areas C.N. Manjunath, P.C. Mohan, Shobha Karandlaje, and C. Sudhakar, former Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, and MLA S. Suresh Kumar among others.

In addition to this, the party has also formed in-charge and co in-charge leaders for each of the five corporations besides the in-charge leaders for each of the three organisational districts in Bengaluru city.
