Visakhapatnam Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari on Friday directed officials of various departments to ensure smooth and error-free conduct of the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary examinations scheduled from May 21 to June 2.

Chairing a coordination review meeting, she said 60 examination centres have been set up in the district for first and second year Intermediate public theory and practical examinations. First year examinations would be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, while second year examinations would be conducted from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

She instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, lighting, toilets, desks and other basic amenities at all centres. Police security, enforcement of Section 144 near centres, closure of xerox shops within 200 metres, medical aid and special APSRTC bus services were also directed.
