A preliminary police probe suggested that the death was caused by a fatal blow to her head, resulting in a deep cut.

A 50-year-old woman was found dead in southwest Bengaluru’s Kengeri in the early hours of Monday, the police said.
The deceased has been identified as Kempamma, a resident of Mylasandra near Kengeri. Kempamma was separated from her husband and had been living alone for years.
