Security forces arrested four militants belonging to various proscribed outfits in Manipur, police said on Sunday (October 26, 2025). All the arrests were made on Saturday (October 25), they said.

Two active cadres of the banned PREPAK (Pro) were apprehended from different locations of Thoubal district, while another member of the outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (Taibang Nganba) was arrested from Porompat in Imphal East, a police officer said.

Besides, one active cadre of the Kanglei Yaowl Kanna Lup (KYKL) was nabbed from his residence at Singjamei in Imphal West, he said.

The security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from their possession, including hand grenades, the officer added.
