35-year-old police constable dies of heart attack in Adilabad district

A 35-year-old police constable working at Indervelli police station in Adilabad district died of heart attack at his residence in Ichoda on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Rathod Vilas, a native of Sampath Naik Tanda in Adilabad district. He suffered a heart attack at his residence early on Monday morning. He died while being shifted to a hospital in Adilabad, sources said.

Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan consoled the family members of the deceased and handed over ₹30,000 financial assistance to them towards funeral expenses.

The SP paid last respects to the deceased constable and attended his funeral held at Sampath Naik Tanda later in the day.
