Police searched a place near Market Yard at Gudlavalleru in Krishna district on Monday (December 29) and seized 240 knives made for roosterfight. One person, K. Ramakrishna, have been booked.,
A case under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, has been registered against the accused, said Superintendent of Police V. Vidya Sagar Naidu. Stern action will be taken against those who resort to roosterfights and other banned games in the district, the SP said.
