12 districts in A.P. get new DMHOs

The Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Department issued a Government Order on July 12 ordering the transfers and new postings of ten Civil Surgeons on administrative grounds.

The order, signed by Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar, facilitates major changes in the position of District Medical and Health Officers (DMHOs).

After approval from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, new DMHOs have been posted to 12 districts. Based on performance, DMHOs of Anakapalli, Kakinada and Anantapur have been transferred to other posts. Nine districts, including NTR, Parvathipuram Manyam, Srikakulam, Eluru, East Godavari, Krishna, Chittoor, Kadapa, West Godavari, got new DMHOs.
