Special train between Visakhapatnam-Cherlapalli to clear festive rush

Special train services have been announced by Waltair Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) for one trip between Visakhapatnam and Cherlapalli to meet the extra rush of passengers.

Train No. 08541 Visakhapatnam–Cherlapalli Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.30 p.m. on October 21 and reach Cherlapalli at 8 a.m. on the following day.

In the return direction, 08542 Cherlapalli–Visakhapatnam special will leave Cherlapalli at 3.30 p.m. on October 22 and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 7 a.m. on the next day.

Both trains will consist of general second class coaches, sleeper coaches, AC-3 Tier coaches, and second class luggage-cum-sitting coaches.

The special trains will halt at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Elamanchili, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Nadikude, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda.

These services are being operated exclusively to clear extra rush of passengers and cater to travel needs during the festive season. Passengers are advised to avail this opportunity for convenient travel. Advance reservation is available at all PRS centres and online.
