A private aircraft lost control while taking off from the runway and collapsed in bushes nearby, in Farrukhabad on Thursday. Two pilots and passengers are safe.

A private aircraft crashed during take-off in Farrukhabad on Thursday after reportedly losing control. The local administration said the aircraft had six occupants, including two pilots, all of whom escaped unhurt.
The aircraft had arrived from Bhopal carrying officials who inspected an under-construction beer factory in Farrukhabad.
U.P. Project Head of the factory, Manish Pandey, said the private jet, bearing call sign VT-DEZ of Jet Service Aviation Private Limited, had landed at the airstrip on Wednesday. “There were six passengers on board including two pilots. The aircraft was returning to Bhopal when the incident happened,” a district official said.
According to officials, the aircraft crashed about 400 metres from the airstrip shortly after take-off. Farrukhabad has a small airstrip.
Local officials, including SDM Sadar Rajnikanth Pandey, Additional Deputy District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar, Kotwali incharge Vinod Kumar Shukla and Circle Officer Ajay Verma, reached the site for inspection. The administration said a probe into the incident is underway.
