ICMR-NIN to host INFUSE summit in December

ICMR- National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN) will host INFUSE – Innovations in Nutrition & Food for Unified Solutions and Empowerment, summit aimed at fostering breakthrough solutions in nutrition and food technology at its campus here on December 4-5.

The institute has invited innovators, researchers, and startups to submit new ideas and solutions spanning food technology for healthy diets, real-time nutrient assessment, personalised nutrition applications, and point-of-care diagnostic devices, which can address nutritional challenges such as food security, diet related non-communicable diseases, and accessible nutrition with the potential to improve health outcomes.

“Selected promising innovation will not only receive recognition from ICMR-NIN but will also benefit from expert mentorship, support and collaboration opportunities,” said director Dr Bharati Kulkarni. Proposals can be submitted via email to infuseinnovations@gmail.com by Nov. 10, 2025.
