Padma Shree awardee and senior general physician Kutikuppala Surya Rao on Friday said students who pursue paramedical courses will have bright career opportunities as the health sector is witnessing significant growth globally.

Attending as the chief guest for the fourth graduation ceremony of Bollineni B.Sc., Life Sciences and Health Care courses, Mr. Rao said that paramedical staff would play a vital role during emergencies, operations and post-care of the patients, while suggesting all hospitals to ensure continuous training for them in understanding medicines, medical-related technologies and others.

Srikakulam Government Medical College Principal S. Appala Naidu said both private and government hospitals’ image will get enhanced when para medical staff discharge their duties sincerely. He congratulated the Chief Mentor of GEMS Hospital, Bollineni Bhaskara Rao, Chairperson Bollineni Rajya Sri and others for focusing on sustained training programmes and courses for the para medical staff under the guidance of experts.
