MLA, officials review public grievances in Visakhapatnam

North Constituency MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju along with district officials visited Sanjeevayya Colony, Ward 46 on Friday as part of the ‘One Month, One Constituency, Four Visits’ programme to address public grievances.

The team received petitions and reviewed the action taken on earlier complaints. The MLA expressed concern over delays in resolving some grievances, particularly those concerning APEPDCL, and stressed the need for prompt action.

A key intervention concerned a schoolgirl whose father had met with an accident, leaving her family unable to pay her school fees. The MLA contacted the private school and directed its management to issue her Transfer Certificate to facilitate her admission to a government school.

Housing and pension-related issues were also raised. About 1,550 eligible beneficiaries in Tri-Junction Colony would be considered for house-site pattas, subject to verification and completion of prescribed formalities. The programme concluded with the distribution of house-site pattas to eligible beneficiaries.
