Andhra Cabinet adopts resolution hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday adopted a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public service.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Ministers recalled Mr. Modi’s political journey and reforms, and expressed their appreciation for his leadership.

Briefing the media after the meeting, I&PR Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said the Chief Minister and the Ministers spoke about Mr. Modi’s efforts to make the country proud at the global level.

The Ministers also discussed the reforms introduced by Mr. Modi and his journey from the Chief Minister of Gujarat to Prime Minister, Mr. Parthasarathy said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Naidu, in a post on X, described Mr. Modi’s completion of 25 years in public service as a “remarkable milestone,” and said India was fortunate to have the “right leader, at the right time.” He said the country was progressing towards Viksit Bharat under Mr. Modi’s leadership.

He said it was a matter of pride for him to have worked with Mr. Modi during his long public service. The Chief Minister said the “double-engine bullet train governments” at the Centre and in Andhra Pradesh had given a fresh impetus to development and investments. With the Prime Minister’s support, Andhra Pradesh was progressing through improved infrastructure and creation of new opportunities, Mr. Naidu said.

He said his government was working towards building a strong India under Mr. Modi’s leadership, while striving to realise the goal of a prosperous Swarna Andhra Pradesh’. Mr. Naidu wished Mr. Modi continued success and expressed the hope that his leadership would continue to guide the country towards greater heights.

In his message on X, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan congratulated Mr. Modi for his efforts and sacrifices over 25 years in the service of the nation. He wished the Prime Minister good health, strength and the ability to continue serving the people.

Turning to X, HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said he performed special prayers at the Venkata Palem temple in Amaravati in Mr. Modi’s name to mark the occasion. He prayed for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health, and for the fulfilment of his vision of Viksit Bharat.

In his post, YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extended his greetings to Mr. Modi, describing his 25 years of public service, first as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as Prime Minister, as a historic milestone.
