The Andhra Pradesh Village Revenue Officers (APVROs) Association elected its new State executive body unanimously for the 2026–2029 term at the Revenue Bhavan on Friday.

Village Revenue Officers from various districts elected the new office-bearers without any contest.

Kona Anjaneya Kumar (Chanti) was elected State president, M. Bapuji general secretary, T. Srinivasa Rao joint president, G. Anupama vice-president, G. Dilleswara Rao publicity secretary and K. Sahithi organising secretary.

The association, affiliated to the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association (APRSA), will focus on the welfare and rights of VROs and the resolution of their service-related issues, besides improving revenue services to the public.

APRSA State president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu said the unanimous election reflected the unity of VROs across the State. He stressed the need to provide VROs with adequate funds, time and facilities to deliver services effectively.

The new executive said it would pursue employees’ rights and welfare while giving equal importance to responsible discharge of duties, transparency and prompt public service.
